Six Ways to Wear Olive Shorts

|
I'm not sure if my style has evolved to match SoCal style more or if it's just because society as a whole has gotten more casual with the athleisure movement and what not, but if I don't need to be dressed up for something specific then I want to be as comfortable as possible while still looking nicely put together. My olive pull-on shorts meet my comfort standards completely, and they're really easy to pair with lots of my closet staples, so if you decide to get these under $20 shorts, today's post should give you plenty of options for styling them.

These shorts are true to size with a relaxed fit. If this length is too short for your liking you might like this pair that comes to mid-thigh, or this pair of bermuda shorts. Both could easily be substituted in the outfits below to create a similar look.

These shorts were my first pair of pull-on shorts this summer, but I've since picked up a couple of other affordable pairs I'm really loving, so stay tuned for those in upcoming posts!

  2. I love your casual outfits! :) I don't know if it's being a mum or like you said the trend going towards more casual outfits, but I rarely feel like I dress up any more.

Hope that you are having a lovely start to your week after a nice weekend :)

  3. And you make even comfy shorts look polished and stylish. On a completely separate subject, today's Audible deal of the day is Woman in the Window. I went back and searched for review and saw you gave it a great review and so I grabbed it.

    1. Oh I hope you like it! Set your expectations low just in case. So often I feel like when books have great reviews I expect too much.

  10. I’m not sure if it’s soCal, but there’s a strong possibility that living here has changed your style! I love looking put together but as I get older, I’m steering away from anything I won’t be comfy in! Love these shorts :)

    1. Yeah, you've known me the entire time I've been here so I'm sure you can tell the difference! And agree for sure about being comfortable. I've become more of a stickler for comfort in my old age. :)
