First of all, if I did have a TV talk show, I would be the producer who plans the content, secures the guests and so on. I wouldn't be the actual On Air hostess. It's probably obvious that I'm not that comfortable in front of the camera in general, much less being on live TV! No thank you! Stacy London would be my dream host. as part of the show I'd have her share her style tips, like the three favorites that I shared in this post about Stacy. Like me, she's a big fan of structured jackets so I think we'd get along pretty most of the time. She's more adventurous with her prints and styling than I am, but we do have some similar tastes.

We do have one point where we disagree, so as part of the show as I mentioned in #4 here, so I'd have to bring on one of my favorite over-35 celebrities like Charlize Theron to debate her on that issue!
Makeovers are mandatory content for any TV talk show geared toward women, so of course I would have some of those on my show, just like I've done on my blog. Some of you might recall this post from last year where my Instagram friend Erin wanted to add some variety to her go-to black-and-white office outfits.
The "style panel" (of myself and Carylee) gave Erin some options for under $50 for switching up her look. The best I could do for that post was a virtual before and after with Pinterest outfits, but on a real life talk show Erin would definitely have to come out on stage with the actual outfits she wore featuring the suggested changes.
Another type of blog post I love doing that would easily translate to a TV talk show are interviews with other bloggers. I love learning their wardrobe favorites, blogging/Instagram tips, and just getting to know a little bit more about the person behind the blog that doesn't always come up in their typical outfit sharing posts. My Coffee Date series has all of that and I've had so many fun interviews you might have missed if you're a newer reader:

Can't you imagine how much more fun this selfie-taking demo would have been on a live TV show?
Our individual lifestyles are a major factor in our daily outfit choices. And even people with similar job titles, (e.g. Project Manager or Stay at Home Mom) can have totally different outfit needs based on the dress code of the office where they work or the ages and stages of their kids. I know my outfits have changed quite a lot since the days of spit-up and diapers! I enjoy seeing how other women in my situation dress as well as seeing how the "other half" live.
Posts like this one where three bloggers who have very conservative office dress codes shared a bit about their background and office style tips would be a frequent feature on my talk show. And for the moms in the studio audience that day, I'd choose a few of them for a live version of Kids Choose It, Moms Wear It featuring outfits like this one selected by my own kiddo:

Bloggers do giveaways, talk shows do giveaways...this one is an obvious fit!
Sorry for the tease if you thought I was announcing a giveaway today! Unfortunately I'm not, but I do have some really good ones coming very soon. Check back early next week for a very fancy designer goodies giveaway, and then later this month I have a very unique Mother's Day gift giveaway that I'm actually Oprah-level excited about because I haven't seen anything quite this like this on a fashion account before, and I think it's going to be a very meaningful prize for one lucky person!

Thanks for being part of my virtual studio audience today and I hope you'll tune in soon for the next episode!
