The bracelet in the outfit above was a complete surprise gift from Carylee. It's not my birthday or our anniversary or anything! I guess I left just one too many strong hints on her blog about how much I loved this bracelet that she wore that she decided to get me my own. Next time she wears her Louboutins I'll be sure to try the same technique and see if those end up at my door too!

2. Favorite Bargain Bag
In my post last Friday I was carrying this bag in two of my outfits. It's a recent Amazon purchase, comes in four colors and is a great bargain at $37! (Once again, credit to Skye and Carylee for helping me find this one. Give them an item description and a budget and they will find something!) You might remember Tatiana from my Coffee Date with her, but she ordered this after seeing it my post last week and thanks to Amazon Prime already had it in an outfit picture (below) this week. She did a better job of capturing the detail and size perspective of the bag than I did, so I wanted to share her photo along with both of our recommendations on this since she loves it as much as I do!

3. Fitting Room Snaps + Reviews
Snapchat continues to be my new favorite social media, and please don't feel bad if you don't "get it" at first. It's not intuitive at all, and it helps a lot if you have a friend or two to help you learn like I did (Thanks Caryl & Rachelle!). I'm not the most active Snapper, but I did share some Express fitting room snaps this week and wanted to post them here for Non-Snappers who missed them. (The lighting was sooo hard to work with but you get the idea)
Windowpane Barcelona Cami: I just noticed that Express recently expanded their sizing on these camis to include XXS and XL (online at least - I did not notice them in store). I wasn't sure if this would affect my sizing but I tried on an XS above (which is what I always get) and it still seems to work. I didn't get this (yet) because I already have the previous version of a windowpane Barcelona.
Black Military Dress: I don't own any dresses but I saw this one online and liked it a lot so I decided to at least try it in store. It runs in sizes XS-L and I'm wearing an XS above. The material is thicker (you shouldn't need a slip, hooray) and a little shinier than a regular Portofino shirt, so it felt a little "dressy" to me, but I think it could still be dressed up or down with different shoes. It's also a lot longer on me (I'm 5'4") than the online model, so that was also a plus for me. I didn't buy it but I'm still thinking about it and debating how much I would really use it.
Striped Barcelona Cami: Rachelle texted me when she first spotted this cami in store and initially I wasn't drawn to it and didn't think it would look good on me. I was also on a shopping restriction so I tried to forget about it. But...it grew on me and once I tried it on I started thinking thinking of all the different outfit possibilities for it so I got it. And I'm sure you'll be seeing it popping up in my Instagram #OOTD any day now. (This also has the expanded XXS-XL sizing and I went with my usual XS.)
Megan) and finally decided to try it. It really is everything everyone said. It's a Monday-Friday daily news email with just the major, global-impact stories highlighted and explained in easy to understand language, peppered with lots of pop culture references and sarcastic humor (my favorite). Since starting it I find myself having discussions with people on topics like the Greek economic bailout and thinking I must sound a lot smarter than when the only news story I could talk about was which Real Housewife flipped a table. And I like that. So I highly recommend it, and you're welcome to use my referral link if you choose. (I don't make any money from that, though I could potentially win a coffee mug or a t-shirt!)
