25 Ways to Wear Scuba Leggings

|
One of the most common searches that leads people to this blog is "how to wear leder leggings." It surprises me since I've never even used the term leder, not to mention no sprechen sie Deutsch! But what I do post about often are Express Scuba leggings, a.k.a. faux leather leggings. When I first bought these, I was scared to wear them (see this post). I worried that they were over-the-top for every day life. Now I've changed my tune completely and won't even wear regular leggings except for lounging.

And since these are going to be back in full force this fall and winter, it seems like a good time for an update on outfit options and styling ideas for dressing them up and down. So I put together 25 style options from celebrities, bloggers, and my own outfit archives for your viewing pleasure today.

A few final observations and experiences with scuba leggings:
  1. Black shoes (pumps especially) seemed to be the most popular shoe choice.
  2. These are a lot warmer than regular leggings! I only like to wear them when the temperature is under 75°F (24°C).
  3. These run XS-L, and the size chart was accurate for helping me choose a size.
  4. Halloween is only a month away. If all else fails, use your Scuba Leggings a starting point for a DIY costume, possibly inspired by one of these:

    1. Express actually has a coat VERY similar to the pink one Kim is wearing! Of course, you're like me and don't really need winter coats, so we'll have to be on the lookout for a pink blazer or something. :)

  22. What I find interesting about the scuba leggings is that you can dress them preppy all the way to glam. I tend to dress more preppy but can't wait to wear mine all glammed up for a night out (when we get a baby-sitter haha)
