Completely Unoriginal

|
Before anyone nominates me for an award for the most unoriginal outfits in one blog post, let me just go ahead and get this out way:

Original outfits are not my forté, and hey, I'm okay with that. What ultimately matters to me is how I feel when I'm wearing an outfit, not where I got the idea for it. So here's my month-in-review compilation of unoriginal outfits, plus a couple of new-to-the-blog ones because I'm the boss of this blog and I can!

  2. Great post Gina! I love how you get inspired by others and then recreate the looks for all of us! It reminds us that we do have some of those basic pieces in our closets to work with!

  4. I believe that nowadays we all take inspiration from somewhere maybe you are way more organized than others but I get inspiration from all over the place pinterest, magazines and more. I can tell that you love your basics and with the right ones you will always have tons of outfits to wear.

    1. Good point Rachelle! I guess my inspiration is more literal and other people are more creative. And YES, I'm all about the basics. :) I never seem to get sick of them.

  8. Yes! This is great! And now I am extra excited to get my red sands so I can recreate look #1! I also need a good pair of grey skinnies. I have a pair from f21 but I'm not convinced. Hmm.
Love your style, lady! I understand you get inspiration from other places, but hey, things can still go horribly wrong during execution and I think your execution is quite fabulous! And that ain't my love goggles talking!

    1. I got lucky with that Old Navy pair of gray skinnies. The sizing on their pants drives me crazy so I usually don't bother. And thank you for the nice comments- love goggles or not I appreciate your feedback!!

    1. That's what I love about it! Sometimes I shop for new pieces to complete a Pin I love, but other times I have everything and just never thought to put them together that way.

  15. I would never in a million years think of you an unoriginal!!! Quite the contrary. You pull together outfits perfectly even if they are from "inspiration" photos. Most of my pin recreations don't turn out like I'd like. I really, really like the stripes outfit with red (yay!) sandals.
