Style Inspirations 11/22/13

Express was everywhere on the web this week. If you're trying to stay on a tight budget right now and not spend any money, click away from what you are about to see. Trust me, do it now. There are tons of great Express clothes and accessories below and you are going to be tempted. But if you want your shopping list to grow just in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you've come to the right place!

Express had a really fun collaboration with blogger couples this week for a total of 18 different looks based around holiday events and traditions. First up is Style Me Grasie (and her husband Damien Fahey...that name might sound familiar to some of you watched MTV back in the day). In their first look she based her outfit on this Plaid Rib Knit Coat, and his look included this familiar Plaid Scarf (I tried this on here):

Next she wore another all-Express outfit including this Striped Top Sweater Skater Dress and Mixed Media Heeled Booties. Go HERE to see her other outfit details.

In her third look she paired this Cropped Velvet Tank with a Sequin Pencil Skirt:

The next blogger collaborator is Clothes Horse NYC. The exact striped dress in her first look is no longer available online, but if you want to re-create a similar look you might like the  Color Block Fit and Flare Dress or Striped Ponte Knit Dress:

The second look on Clothes Horse NYC includes a Sequined Graphic Sweatshirt and (Minus the) Leather and Boiled Wool Jacket

Go HERE to check out the final look featuring a familiar Red Lace Dress styled with a Pyramid Stud Crossbody Bag:

The last duo collaborator is Damsel in Dior. Her first outfit included Pointed Toe Top Bow Flats and a Striped Side Slit Sweater. (And look! Express, paired her sweater with my favorite mini skirt! Do you all notices these pairings when web browsing too?)

For the next look, Jacey chose the same Plaid Coat as Grasie but with completely different styling. She wore these Slouchy Heeled Booties with the Brushed Sateen Hip Zip Ankle Pant (another favorite of mine- read more about that here):

And finally, check out her festive look with this Sequin Swirls Tank and his look with a Merino Wool Striped Scarf:

If you don't have a (Minus the) Leather Jacket yet: 1) You are missing out. 2) You're probably going to want one if you click through and check out some of these looks. I summarized my reasons for loving these HERE, and they continue to gain new fans.

First, you can enter a giveaway to win the jacket pictured here on Sydne StyleThen you can check out the ways she styled it HEREHERE, and HERE. The first look features the Mock Neck Sweater Dress pictured below, and you can get my thoughts on fit and sizing for this dress HERE.

Need more convincing that you need this jacket? check out More Pieces of MeHaute Pink Pretty, and A Memory of Us who also had great styling options this week.

My Superficial Endeavors styled her Marled Roll Sleeve Sweater with a pencil skirt for work:

Tiffany D put together a polished casual look with the Ankle Rolled Boyfriend Jean:

Brooklyn Blonde stayed warm in this Drop Double Breasted Coat:

With Love From Kat has had so many great looks with Express skirts lately and this week was no exception. This time she chose a Drop Waist Skater Skirt. You can also check out another look with a similar Express skirt here on Petite Hues:

This Sequin Striped Dress would be a great duplicate for the striped Express dress on Sydney's Fashion Diary(Plus, if you can't get away with some extra sequins during the holidays, when can you?):

And there you have it! Every week I'm surprised at how many looks I find and at who turns up on the list that I haven't seen before. I know I'll be trying some of these out for myself and hope to see some of them on you as well!

    1. I don't think I've seen you wear a moto jacket on your blog, Ginny. You need one! You'd definitely find a million ways to remix it and wear it!

  3. Lots and lots of good stuff!!! But OMG that plaid jacket? I. Die. It would look so cute with these black studded gloves I have from the Target/ NM collabo last year.

    1. Have you worn the gloves on your blog? I might have to go do a search on that to check them out. :)
