Style Inspirations 11/15/13

I almost hate to tell you all this and reduce my chances of winning, but it wouldn't be right if I didn't keep you in-the-know: Express is offering one lucky person a trip to New York City for New Year's Eve. All you have to do to enter is text NYE to 397-737. They will text you back, you reply again to confirm you want to enter and that's it!

The winner of this contest gets all of the following:
  • Airfare to – and hotel in – New York City for winner + 3 friends
  • $1,000 Express shopping spree (each of the 3 friends receives a $500 shopping spree)
  • Dinner on NYE
  • Exclusive VIP party experience in Times Square
That's a pretty amazing prize in my opinion, and if one of you wins this because I told you about it, TAKE ME WITH YOU!! You still have room for TWO other friends after me!

So last week I posted about a few of my favorite infinity scarves at Express (click HERE for that post).  And currently all scarves are 40% off, so if you've had your eye on one, now is a good time to get it. If you need more styling options, check out Four Seasons Style and More Pieces of Me wearing my favorite Leopard Infinity Scarf.  And if you find yourself wanting a poncho after seeing Four Seasons Style (guilty!), you can get this one at Express.

Handbags are also 40% off right now! I love this Black and white Crossbody as seen on Hapa Time.

Sydne Style is giving away a (Minus the) Leather Skirt this week. She also styled it here and here

See two cute and casual looks with this Asymmetrical Sweater and a similar Contrast Trim Boyfriend Sweater on Kelly's Reality.

Leopard Martini wore a very similar Cobalt Blue Dress from Express.

More Pieces of Me got Pin-spired to buy this necklace, and she put together a perfectly glam, professional look to go with it:

If you'll be needing a winter coat this season you can check out this Wool Blend Fit and Flare Coat on Saucy Glossie:

Sydney's Fashion Diary showed two ways to wear her Scuba Front Leggings. I tried these on way back when and haven't made a purchase yet, but I'm starting to get pretty tempted after seeing her outfits (and this one from September on More Pieces of Me is still a favorite!):

I'm always happy to find a new member of my Portofino Fan Club (you can meet some other members of that fan club HERE),  so it was fun to spot Corporate Catwalk in a wear-to-work look with her Portofino Shirt:

And on the subject of Portofinos, I showed you this wrinkly pretty new color HERE, and it's finally available online HERE. This one is a Pieced Chiffon Portofino, so the shoulders are much more sheer than a regular Portofino (i.e. your bra straps will be visible!)

I love hearing your favorites each week in the comments, so let me know what new things caught your eye! And by the way, there's a great coupon code for Express Next members this weekend. Check your email for that- since this is an individual code I won't be giving you mine! If you still haven't joined Express Next (read HERE for why I think it's worth it), you can check the Express Twitter feed for another great coupon code running this weekend.

And finally, if you want to stay connected, you can follow me on Bloglovin', Twitter, or Facebook. Links for those are up above my welcome section to the right. Thanks for visiting!
